THEN, WHEN THEY WERE HERE AT THE U-FEST, MAN THAT WAS CRAAZY. PEOPLE WERE DRINKING STRAIGHT OUT OF KEGS(STOLEN FROM THE BOOTHS), SETTING THINGS ON FIRE, AND RUNNING BACK AND FORTH LIKE THING ONE AND THING TWO. MUST HAVE BEEN SOME PCP OR SOME RETARD DRUG PASSED AROUND. WELL, ANDYWAY, THE BAND BEFORE TYPE-O, FUCK, I CAN'T REMEMBER THEIR NAME NOW. BUT THE SINGER WAS DRUNK OFF HIS ASS, AND UNQUESTIONABLY INCITED A RIOT. THE DORKY METAL HEADS IN THE AUDIENCE RUSHED THE STAGE AND TOOK IT, KNOCKING SPEAKERS OVER ON PEOPLE AND STUFF. I LEFT WHEN THE RIOT POLICE STARTED MOVING IN. SO TYPE-O DIDN'T GET TO PLAY. BUT AFTERWARDS, AT PURGATORY, THE TYPE-O GUY HAD THE LAST SAY WHEN HE PUNCHED THE AFOREMENTIONED DRUNK-ASS IN THE JAW. I THINK THEY ARE THE SHIT, EVEN THOUGH I KEEP GETTING JIPPED OUT OF SEEING THEM PLAY. OH YEAH, AND THEY WERE HERE ANOTHER TIME BUT IT WAS SOLD OUT. I LIVE IN PHOENIX. IT IS VERY SUCKY HERE.

damn ....the drab four refused any interview...they were really tired..i talked to a person from side line mag...the one from the interview on my homepage...roadrunner gave strict orders...even those guys were not able to get an interview with them...i asked to get a pic of me and peter and same shit...roadrunner said no....i got little dissapointed..anyway i met das ich and stuck mojo backstage.they both signed my ticket..and i got a pic of me and the frontman of das ich...cool guys...some can even sp eak french.....i'll be taking pics of the show... about the sisters of mercy..they were totally uncool..real assholes...eldrich refused any chat with anybody on the site..even with the food caterers...any way i botlegged their concert..the quality of the tape is awesome..i'll try the same thing with TON. ..anyway..some said that they suffered from the heat...could be that the band plays again withouit their pants on...could be fun.i got a photo pass... erik

It was a 1200 km ride on bike. It was wet and cold. But at 01:00 at Midtfyn festival TON entered the main stage and man was it worth it! One hell of a good concert. Unfortuenately I couldn´t make the concert in Arvika but I hope it was just as amazing. Keep up the slow and dark.

Nice page. I just wanted to register my complaint about the Type O's performance at Ozzfest. They got screwed and only had time to play three songs. They were the main reason I went and it would have been nice to cut some time off of Manson and give it to these guys. What they did play was excellent, but not nearly long enough!

just saw t.o.n at ozzfest in wi. they truly are the best, and they were the most underappreciated band there. their music brings you somewhere. else completely. lets just say that pantera has some asshole fans. i was about ready to kill a bunch of them when they plagued my enjoyment of type o's set with screams of pantera! they wanted nothing more to get type o of the stage and it pissed me off. next time i'll see them at a club show again. they just aren't a large arena band. there is too much to enjoy that gets lost at such a huge facility. anyway, stay negative.

Once with Ozzie and Sepultura, once with Drain and Stuck Mojo. Both times in Shreveport. Both times they were awesome. I hope to see them plenty more. I hope I get to go to Ozz Fest in Dallas. I just recently aquired October Rust, and to my surprise when I play the CD on my computer at night and listen to Haunted weird things happen. First the digital volume controls on my computer started moving all by themselves. And now every once in a while only when Haunted is playing programs pop up all by them selves. It's a shame that we have to wait so long for the next Type O release. An EP to coincide with their OZZFEST appearances would be dynamite. Speaking of, I'm very distressed to find out that there is a possibility that the OZZFEST will not be performed a t Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ since this is the closest venue to me. Even if it means dropping MARILYN MANSON from the bill, it would be worth it to experience TYPE O and the mighty BLACK SABBATH (3/4 of it anyway) in the same show. I guess Lord Petrus won't be performing SABBATH songs as part of the set. I hope the show does come off since I have never seen the original SABBATH (I guess that goes for 99 percent of those who will be in attendance). On another matter, does anyone know a good club in the NYC area for live music on a regular basis? And one more thing- I'll do anything to make you cum.

Nevertheless, Type O is the last great NY band (RIP- BIOHEADACHE-you can't put out the same shit over and over again. The people eventually catch on!) I just saw them a couple of weeks ago in Portchester NY. Fabulous as usual. The sound was a bit off in areas, but the overall vibe was very positively negative. Looking forward to OZZ FEST. Unfortunately, Bill Ward will not be with the reunited SABBATH. That's like a Carnivore reunion without Louie Beateaux!

I was lucky enough to acquire a CD of Carnivore for five bucks in millersville pennsylvania. It is a compilation of their two releases Carnivore and Retaliation. It is incredible and I have not been able to stop listening to it since I bought it in S eptember of 1996. If you can get a hold of any of Carnivores work, buy it immediately, because it is phenomenal. If anyone out there has personal ties to TON please ask them to tour down to the District of Columbia. We need some uplifting music down th ere.

I saw Type O Negative in Minneapolis back in September and had a chance to meet John, the drummer, before the show. They are such cool guys - so down to Earth. John told us about trying to quit smoking and about his apartment in Brooklyn. I learned that Pete Steele works for the Parks and Rec department there.

Actually, I've already signed the guest book; just wanted to read the newest comments but seems I can only access the old guestbooks; maybe I'm doing something wrong. It's very interesting to read the guestbooks. TON attracts a diverse group of peopl e. Haven't seen enough from New Jersey, USA. Great to read comments from other countries. Great web page - I still haven't had the time to look at and read everything. Hoping to see TON in one of the two NY gigs coming up in March and April. Hope to see the OZZYFEST, too. Never been to a concert of that magnitude. Nothing spectactular to add except that TON still haunts me and I NEVER get tired of listening to all their CD's. Can't wait for the next one. Gee, haven't been a band "groupie" since the "Good Rats" from Long Island back in the 70's. Uh-oh, I'm really aging myself. I have read many interviews with Peter Steele over the past few years and I have come to the conclusion that although he is a great musician, his political views are so mangled and shot to hell it's embarassing. F*C*IN' A RIGHT!!! Just saw the band front and center. I was 10 feet away from Peter. (pant pant) The show ROCKED like no other! The very best part: I HAD MY ARMS AROUND PETER STEELE!!!! I got to meet Peter after the show. I got his autograph, t hen I told him that I just had to hug him, and threw my arms around him. It's unbelieveable how incredibly cool this man is. He hugged me back and actually thanked ME!! For the love of everything Negative, I pressed by breasts on that rock hard chest!! WOOO HOOO!!!!! YES!! His voice...my god, he is my god! When he did Wolf Moon I thought I would pass out, and not because of all the people slamming against me, but his voice...oh, his voice... And the bottle of wine he drank from... how I wish I could have shared it. I am forever changed. Is there such a thing as a Type O groupie? I hope not, but I guess I'd follow them around if I had the chance... Stay Negative everyone!!!!

I loved there first album probably the best, yet I can't seem to help but like every other album also even thought the music is completely different. That is what makes them so great, it doesn't matter what they play, it will always sound breath-taking. I saw a show at the Fillmore awhile ago, I have to say the best part was the snow, it kind of took me to another place, somewhere other than there. I could hardly believe the impact it. There were hardly any people there, this had to of been the concert to top all others.

I just wanted to say hello to all of the other Peter, Josh, Kenny, and Johnny fans. I just saw them live in Peoria a week ago and needless to say it was spiritually invigorating. No other music can comprehend to my life like their's does, there is something special in the way they perform. I didn't get to meet them, but on March 2nd I hopefully will when I go see them again in Indianapolis, Indiana. Well, keep keep the Type O spirit alive, take it easy.

Well, now that I read the other comments and say mine, I guess I did just fine. I wonder if there are any other 30-40ish females out there that are moved by this music like me? Everyone seems to have very strong comments. I like that. It's good to s ee so many others addicted to Peter's music and command of the English language. Ok, yes he is incredibly sensual - dark, brooding, but posseses humility and a caring nature, too. That, I just love about him. And the rest of the guys in the bad are won derful too! These four guys are meant to be together. They become one to give deep, almost unexplainable feelings to their listeners. I just wonder how the people with the other comments have gotten to meet the band? Anyway, love October Rust and Blood y Kisses. We have Slow, Deep & Hard, too. That one freaked me out when my daughter first bought it and I read the lyrics. Until I really, really listened to all the CD's and read EVERY think on the jacket liners. Those were different days. Feel like I kind of know Peter in a way. Thanks for sharing with us, Peter.

Just have to get the word out on the Vinnland tour: the set & the show are incredible! They end w/ Black No.1(Littlew Miss Scare-all), how appropriate. A couple of us caught Type O in Hartford 1-21-97, we actually got to meet Peter before the show(we arrived 5 hrs. prior!) He was the most polite gentleman I've met in a while, holding the door for us & bidding us farewell w/ a huge bear-hug (aw yeah!).
